I am trying something differenton the E9th neck. Using my LKV,I'm pulling the 5th string(b) up to a d. Anyone else using this pull?

I seem to remember that Paul Franklin had it at one point. It's a cool idea.

If you can combine it with an E to F# raise somehow, you could go from E major (no pedals) up a fourth to A major (pedals down), and then up another fourth to D major (the new change). I think that could be very useful.

I like that change and I have it on my 3 main steel guitars.

On the Franklin I have it on a knee lever, so I can use it more. that's because the Franklin is the only guitar where the C# is in tune if you release the D lever.

I have tried the B-D change and found it useful in a lot of positions.
Use the lever in:
open pos - raises 5th to a b7
A+B pedals - raises 3rd to 4th
Apedal + E´s to F give a minor w/b5 on strings 6 5 4 3 (root on 5th string)
By itself - three chromatic notes on strings 5 2 4

Surprised that no one else said anything.
C# to a D on a knee lever was used by Jimmie Day.
