I'm always loosing my finger picks. The other day I was making a new bar/tuner holder and after getting it all painted up pretty, I put covered the near side with velcro, then put 1/8" strips on the band of my picks.
This works perfect in the music room, the picks hang on real good. Of course when transporting the stuff, it all goes in the seat compartment but when I get set up at the gig, they get stuck again to the bar holder when not on my fingers. Anyone have a better idea for pick management?

| I put my picks in one of those plastic film cans you get when you buy a roll of 35mm film. Prevents them from getting bent . |

Nope, never had any problem losing them! I play for years with the same picks...until the tips wear off!
Do you "velcro" your car keys and TV remote as well? Some people have a problem with those, too!  |

My wife provided me with a nifty little leather "purse"......One side is long/deep like for a pair of glasses, cigarette pack or whatever. The shorter side is perhaps two inches deeps (just perfect for picks!)and both have strong metal twist to SNAP closing devices.
Small and convenient......yet large enough NOT TO GET LOST in the pack-seat. Try it. You'll LIKE IT! They come in various colors and materials. |

| Hinged ring box. The wife and the ring are long gone, but the little box keeps my picks nice and safe. Was a bit expensive, though. |

plastic film can. I mark mine on the top "pix"... get it? 
a film can works great for a loose 9v battery too, won't short out in the pack a seat. 
also works great for illicit substances. (but then we already knew that application....) |

A tobacco pouch, like those used by pipe smokers, works great for picks, bar, tuning wrench, etc. I have one that seals with a zipper I've been using for 20 years.

Go to your local bank and ask for a small money bag, the kind with a zipper along the top. You can keep your picks, bars, and tuning wrench in there and it lays very flat in the pac-a-seat.

I ALWAYS keep 6 or 7 sets of picks in a leather bag in my paka-seat. I also usually carry around a set in my pocket as well. I also always carry at least a dozen flat picks around at all times.

A note about keeping extra finger picks handy: Make sure they are "broken in" - no rough edges, polished, bent to the correct shape and fit, etc.

The BEST thing I've found is a canvas carrying case for a camera. They have lots of zippered pouches that are perfect for bars, picks, string winders, etc. I always load it the same way so if I need something in a hurry I know just what pouch to look in.

My buddy got me an empty plastic snuff box
for just the picks. I have the bar in a pouch. Used the velcro idea to make a strap like thingy to hold the Geo L cables, one for each. |

I use velco to stick the grandkids to the wall when they get out of line. Really works good!

I use them little brown plastic contaners that prescriptions come in. The're good for 9 volt batterys,picks and tunning keys.
And,like others,I use a Crown Royal bag for one of my hand-helt tuners. I went to a local liquor store here in "Nashburg" and the clerk give me 6 or 7 of them free, I mean NO charge.
See, some liquor does have it's advantages.

Pro-Pik gives you a cool little round plastic case with a flip lid when you order a set of their picks direct. Kind of like the film can, except: (1) the lid stays on so you don't lose it; and (2) it's flatter and wider so it fits in your pocket better
