Found this radio station the other day. It is KJIC 90.5 out of Santa Fe, TX (south of Houston, and close to Galveston). It has ALOT of Steel Guitar! I even heard a full Steel Guitar Instrumental today! This is definitely something any steel player shoud check out!
For those out of the listening range, you can catch it online at the following website:

Thanks Brandon for the link. It is very difficult to find good christian music on the radio. I love the southern gospel and christian country and look forward to listening in. |

Your welcome Paul!
Ransom, I know where it is, but since a majority of people don't know where Alvin and Hitchcock are, I said Houston and Galveston
It's a great station if you like Southern Gospel and Christian Country... _________________ '74 Emmons D10 P/P 8x5,'15 Rittenberry D10 8x5, Peavey Nashville 112, 400 & 1000, Fender Twin Reverb Tone Master, Hilton, Goodrich L120, Boss DD-3 and RV-3 |

Brandon, I listen to this channel all of the time. There are some really good players and one of them is our own "Bobby Gondesen" that usually comes to the Katy show. Bobby is a regular on that station.
Doug Jernigan is on there also. One of my favorites is Glen Crain from Oklahoma; I have his cd and it a great country gospel cd and needless to say , he is a super player and does all gospel. His wife is a gifted singer of gospel music.... |
