I thot of this as a kid, using Elmers white, but didn't try/persue it. Somebody could refine the idea and make a mint. |

A friend's mother just gave me a box of 45's and 78's that are in terrible shape.I'm going to try this for I have nothing to lose.

| That appears to really work and suck all the crap right out of the grooves !! I've got some of my old favorite 78s by Roy Acuff & Ernest Tubb , all scratchy and dirty from years of metal needles and diamond dust. Maybe I'll give 1 or 2 a shot !! Eddie "C" |

i have a record cleaner. simple nitty gritty machine.
it works great, but
one reason it works is that i mix jet dry into the cleaning solution. this allows the water/cleaner mix to drive down in the groove. the hydrostatic pressure will not allow any cleaner in unless you use jet dry.
the other chemical that works is called photo flow, but jet dry is at every grocery store and is cheap. these act as a surfactant.
i do not believe that this glue thing can work down deep in the groove. no way that aliphatic glue like titebond can get in that tiny groove. that tite bond glue is not cheap either. interesting, but not on my records. |

Friend of mine gave me the cure for chapped lips...Cow Crap...You stick two fingers in the fresh green flops and rub it gently around your lips....Does it cure Chap lips????Nope..But it keeps you from licking them....   |
