Has anyone tried this for pedal steel? I've always read the a digital delay, such a the Boss unit, is better suited for Pedal steel.
Thanks Terry |

I have tried a ton of delays.. (pedal junky) but keep coming back to my Carbon Copy analog delay. Just sounds better to my ears, and has all I am looking for (from a "slapback" to Gilmour type stuff with a twist of one knob.. great for playing out.
Alot of the delays (Timeline, El Capistan, Memoryman, etc. are probably great in a studio (and some sound pretty amazing) but I would have to get down on my knees with a flashlight to change any of the settings.. so it kind of depends on how you plan on using it.. |

I use a Deluxe memory man and like it better than the boss unit. There is nothing better or worse for steel when it comes to delays though. Delay is delay. There is no such thing as a steel delay. Use whatever unit sounds good to you and has features that suit your personal needs. _________________ Bob |
