Can anyone tell me what this button is for on my Pedalmaster? It's the button in the middle. The larger one on the left is a tone control. The button does not "switch" you just push it in (and out)
any ideas?

Maybe it's a "stutter" button. |

Strum a chord, and push the button immediately afterwards. Does the sound cut off or change?
If not, then the button does absolutely nothing. |

How is it wired? Please post a picture of it from the inside of the cabinet.
Does it click when you push it? _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

I just bet it's a stutter button.
The wiring comes from the pickup. |

I think Erv's right. Stutter is a Speedy West effect - you can bounce on the button faster than you can move the tone control. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

Dave, the input jack is on the right corner, by the right knee.
and lets see, left hand using tone bar, right hand, picking,... I might have to bend a toe around to use that stutter button!
Thanks for the info guys! _________________ Carter SD10

Does the button stay depressed when you push it in? Meaning, you push it once and it's depressed/engaged then push it again to disengage it? _________________ Respectfully,

It's probably a tone control bypass switch |

I was thinking tone control bypass also. Probably not a coil tap. Only 2 wires coming from pickup. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Yep, I tried it out tonight and it indeed is a stutter button! I had never heard of such a. Gonna Google some Speedy West and see what that's about. Another mystery solved thanks to this forum! _________________ Carter SD10

That's an option with most companies.
With this option you can download all the hot licks from Buddy Emmons, Lloyd Green, John Hughey, Mike Johnson, Paul Franklin, etc.
Well worth the money! |
