For about a year now I have been playing acoustic guitar for a Ukulele group.
It is small quiet group and frankly a social gathering more than anything.
My wife’s family (Hawaiian) has been after me for years to play her grandfathers 8 string Magnatone.
I’ve strung it up to C6 and have started messing around with it.
Has anyone used the Luna Ukulele Suitcase Amp 5 Watt Portable Amp?
Let me know what you think of them.
Thanks

Here's the general consensus about this amp for uke;
This little power box is awesome. I plugged it in and the quality and tone of my uke was better than without an amp! I had purchased another make of amplifier before and had to return it but this one is a keeper. It doesn't blast you out of the room but it's more than sufficient and worth the $82!

Don't like 9 volt batteries, but for a tuber at that price I'm very interested in it for low volume steel use at home. Thanx for posting it here!

Moved to Electronics from Steel Without Pedals. Please post in the appropriate section of the Forum.

There are a huge number of decent small amps at that price range, almost all of which are solid state. The Fender Mustang I has gotten good reviews, as have the Roland Micro Cube and Mobile Cube. Check previous discussions like this one to see what others have suggested in the past.

I have no experience with the Luna amp.
