Steve I have a similar model I got out here in NZ about 5 years ago ...it has never missed a beat and is great that it is totally collapsible - including the wheels fold up, so it's real easy to store in my truck. ABout the only thing I don't shift with it is my steel case cos that already has it's own wheels ... it;s the perfect tool for the job _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9

I got one of those as well - I've been using it all summer. Folded up it takes up almost no space. I can't remember what I paid but not a whole lot. It might not last forever, but then again a unit that will last forever probably won't be so compact or so inexpensive. |

I've used one for several years, only problem i have with it is that the mechanism has become loose (or maybe worn) and it wants to fold up to quickly. _________________ Justice The Judge SD-10, 2007

Steve,
I have two of them as I have an complete setup 400 miles from my home. I have had them six or seven years.
The wheels are 7" dia., plastic, with thick rubber tread. I thought they were rated at 300lbs., but the add says 200. I have used them in gravel as well. I must need to air up the tires as they are only 7" dia. here. I paid $40
for this model.

My wife bought one at Sam's last week for $20.
She said it was a bargain for old folks like us to
cart some of the things we usually have to carry
when we go to shows or jams or just go for a visit. _________________ aka "Lucky Kay"--Custom built Rittenberry SD10 3X5, Walker S/S, NV-112, and Hilton Pedal |
