Sunday, 8/19/12 Branson Community Building - 1 to 5 pm Jam.
Light trun out as is typical for an August jam but great fun and fellowship ( also typical )
Vice President, Charlie Steichen, welcomes everyone.
Great band-- Dino Strunk, Larry Jackson and Buddy Lewis
Thanks to Larry Jackson for doing a great job filling in for regular Jam drummer, Russ Burns.
Jim Kielblock
Eddie Lane
Bill Myrick
Ted Emmons
Guest singer, Roberta Riddle from Leavenworth, Kansas doing some great country songs.
We were sorry to learn Jerry and Venda Hanley were not feeling the best, although they were in faithful attendance, as usual.
President, Terry Bethel arrived late, fresh off the Mel Tillis bus and full of stories and conversation.
Although there were only four steelers, this lead to a lot of numbers played as well as some great vocals throughout the day, very enjoyable. |

Yes, the Sunday jam was little but mighty!! Bill, the pictures, as always, are great! Jim Kielblock did some great singing as well as playing. My, what a great voice! Ted Emmons did some great picking and singing, too and his wife joined in with him. And her singing was tops! Of course, Eddie Lane, is a tremendous steel player, and he also, surprised everyone by singing harmony with Buddy Lewis. We were so glad Bill Myrick brought his steel and he never missed a beat! Super job! You should have heard our vice-president. He got in there and sang a great song!! The band, Buddy, Larry, and Dino kept all the steel players right on beat! And to top it off, we had some 'yummy' snacks to eat!! It was a FUN afternoon!! _________________ Jerry and Venda |

Thanks, Jerry. I always hope you'll chime in with your words and recounts, no one does it as well as you do. - |
