I'm not sure if this is the right forum to introduce myself and say hi, but I would like to say that although I am not a steeler, but a six stringer, I love the sound of steel, and have been attending the Canadian steel show for the past couple of years. Just meeting you folks is worth the trip to Caroline, AB. I very much enjoy reading the forum, and listening to most of the sound clips. Thanks b0b for a great site. |

Hi ya Bill. I joined this site several years ago as a six-stringer,too. I finally ordered and purchased a Stage One Zum from Doug Earnest a month ago, and have not touched my Telecasters since.
bOb runs a good place, and its refreshing to have so many people share their hard earned knowledge. See you around, Bill!

It does not make a difference if you play steel or not.You just need the love for the music.
Who knows you might get the urge to play steel also and there is a wealth of info on this forum.if you can not find what you are looking for there willo be someone that can give some of kind of direction to find it .Happy pickingi
Enjoy what ever you play

Your kind words are the perfect examples of what I said about the people. This forum is loaded with ladies and gentlemen. One of the finest people I have met personnally is Kayton Roberts, a true gentleman. When someone coined the term "class act" they were probably looking at Kayton.
I hope to be in Mesa, AZ this coming winter, sure would like to meet up! |
