Have to triple that to a WOW! WOW! WOW! Beautiful Zane.
What does the arm lever do. I guess it lowers some strings. _________________ aka "Lucky Kay"--Custom built Rittenberry SD10 3X5, Walker S/S, NV-112, and Hilton Pedal |

Thanks for listening!!! I appreciate the comments.
Carl - it lowers strings 5/6 whole tones.
Billy - Check their website out. www.jacksonsteelguitar.com
Clearly they are great guitars! The look like Sho-Buds because Harry and David Jackson (founders) are the sons of the great Shot Jackson. _________________ Zane King

Zane, I think this is your best yet and I am not only impressed with your great talent for the steel, but knowing that you composed it, makes it all one neat package. I am thankful that you and a just a few others, are still out there making great steel music with your own compositions. Great job and keep up the good work. |

Thanks for replying Tony!
Wally - I appreciate your encouragement!!! It seems there was a time when steel players wrote a lot of tunes. Those tunes even became "hits" if you will. I don't see anymore in the steel guitar community. So many things have changed. While there have been many advancements to the instrument it seems there have been some things that haven't advanced as much. JMO.

This tune, probably more than any of your tunes, Zane, just crawls into my head and stays there! The progressions, the timeing, and all the little noodles that you put in there, all combine to create a masterpiece of sound and emotion. This is one of those tunes that is at home in any form of musical interests, but should really reach out and grab steelers. The timing and execution are perfect and being a Rittenberry man, I hate to say it, but the Jackson does sound sweet. You are indeed a most talented musician. I would sure hate to be the guy that had to follw you in an act!
Thanks for your wonderful music and I hope you do a lot more for us to hear. |

Hey Zane, man you are a real talent. Loved the whole "MADE OF STEEL" cd. I recommend to all steel players. Looking forward to spending time with you and Donna in St. Louis.
