I came across this picture of Steinar Gregertsen's Asher this morn, and was happy and sad at the same time. I wonder what happened to this fine lap??? It reminds me of my Asher...and I think of him a lot when I get it out.

Mine does not have the custom art work....

I have Steinar's first Asher (he named it "Lizzy" after Bill Asher's mom).

I remember that one Don, thanks. He also used to own a green National Dynamic copy lap, I can't remember the name on it. Great instruments pass on to others over time...we are just caretakers of them.
I also own a Lazy River Weiss, and Steinar owned a couple of those over the years.

Steinar hated to part with Lizzy, but was having problems with the tax man in Norway. He listed it here at the forum and I pounced on it right away. He was a great guy and the deal went very smoothly from half-way around the world. Lizzy now resides in Idaho. "Northern Lights" is one of my favorite records. Steinar used Lizzy on a number of songs on the album. He is certainly missed by a lot of people. Lizzy occupies a prominent place in my guitar room and I think of him every time I play.
