Karen you nailed it. Spot on.
Which guitar did you use for this cut?

FWIW That song is most likely the most influential steel run that got me interested in steel guitar.
Gosh that was a long time ago.

Great job.

Thanks. I used my Emmons. I actually recorded direct using a Tech 21 Blonde pedal and some plug-ins that came with my recording software which is Digital Performer. I just added the steel track, the vocals and other instruments were pre-mixed and sent to me. I sent the guy back the steel track so he can do a final mix.
I had a lot of fun doing this and pretty happy with how it came out.

Sounds good, Karen. You're channeling Jerry very well! Your playing has improved a lot in the past year or so... it shows what practice and determination can do. And that little blue Emmons rings like a bell!

the video of me was added after the session and after i recorded my part which is why there is only a few shots of my playing, but he wanted me in the video. i recorded the steel track in my home studio. i made a few edits but it's pretty much done in a few takes with only a couple of punch in's. i don't like copy/paste recording, i prefer to get it done mostly in one performance.
