I have been enjoying David Johnson's steel playing on the Inspirations Quartet CD's. He plays several instruments on their recordings, and the steel is very nice indeed.

I see Dave at a nearby studio. He's a fine man and a great player of whatever instrument he chooses to play. He's also country as cornbread and I enjoy our conversations.

Hi Tony, well he's got a fan here in New Zealand, I enjoy all his playing very much. He sounds like a nice fellow, from how you describe him. I've also got plenty of Primitive Quartet CD's with his playing of many instruments on them.

Marcus. Very Happy Very Happy

I know the Primitive's too. Played sessions with 3 of them. Good people. I'll send David and Jeff Tolbert the banjo/fiddle and vocal with the Primtive a text and let them know about you.

Thanks Tony, yes the Primitives are great, I enjoy all of their recordings. Jeff's real good on those recordings also, along with Dave on that Dobro etc, would be some of my very favorites.
Let them know they are also appreciated down here in "Kiwi country".
