The Discovery guitar is a great steel for anyone wanting the great sound and playability of a pro level guitar without the weight. It sure does take the hassell out of flying with a steel. I recently flew to France for a festival, and carried mine in the airplane overhead compartment over there and back. No problems! Wonderful little steel guitars!

Compared to the 48lbs of the Discovery in the case. What is the weight of the G2 in the case?
Thanks...Todd

Hi,
I'm always the last one to find things out, so if this had been touched on, I apologize for being redundant. With that said, I would be curious to know how these compare to a GFI Ultra S-10. I had one before trading it, it was great guitar and good tone, but had trouble getting undernieth it with my arthritic joints. I guess you will run into that with any S-10. I may be asking someone to compare apples and oranges. But you don't know if you ask
Thanks in advance

Randy
