The B-10 I used to have had that headstock (albeit with a decal--early '50s--instead of a plate.) _________________ "Gopher, Everett?" |

Is the green dot at the 11th fret? And the second set of three dots... are they at the 14th? Man, that would mess me up bad. _________________ New FB Page: Lap Steel Licks And Stuff: https://www.facebook.com/groups/195394851800329 |

Good eye, Stephen! I wonder what's going on there. If you look closely at the picture, you can see two empty holes at fret 12 and one more empty hole at fret 21 where the marker dots were originally. The dots at frets 3, 11, and 14 appear to be a different size and color, and are a little off-center, so they probably aren't factory dots.
The B-10 for sale (or not for sale) at Elderly is more conventionally marked. Note no dots at all at fret 3, two at fret 12, the others where you'd expect them.

So what could the mystery dotter possibly have in mind? |

Seems some are determined to get this steel no matter how much they overpay. With less than 2 hrs. to go the... winner, may be shelling out over 2Gs for a guitar that should be priced under a grand. |

It apparently sold for $1750 USD. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel
