This is an idea I came up with to help compose and tab my steel music.
I bring up my ClicTab software on the monitor and place my new Desktop Steel in front thereof.
Saves running back and forth to my regular steel.

I can record with my Webcam Mike and it comes out pretty cool without pickup. Serves my purposes just fine. Here is a clip MP3 of the little new instrument. Smile

Take a look at my site and available music if you have not already done so.

Pretty slick trick, Roy, maybe we'll hear even more of your stuff now.

Smile Thanks Ron!
This is so convenient Compose/Arrange, Play, Tab and
test record from this one station without moving and
save everything to file.

One of the things that was so appealing to me about the MSA SuperSlide was that I can pick it up and put it right where yours is, or beside me, or on a standing height drawing board (a great resonator!) In fact the biggest problem I have when I get the 3am creepies is that it's still too loud - I have to muffle it with a bath towel.

That's a very pretty arrangement of Hawaiian Lullaby, Roy. Does this mean that we might see a book of Hawaiian songs from you soon? I hope so!

Roy,

Very neat looking and a nice sound. Would you share some construction details with us. I've been thinking of something like this to keep in the truck.
