What hum bucking pick-ups have you guys had good luck (and tone) with? The 910's on my Zum are great, but how about on a Mullen? Or maybe a 710, or Geo.L 10-1 or PF1? Or even one I haven't mentioned. Let me hear from you.
Thanks,
Roger

I have numerous Mullen guitars and each one has it's own personality. I have at least 2 that have the stock Mullen pu's wound anywhere from 25k-28k ohms. It took some experimenting but they have the tone that I like. Some of my other Mullen rigs have the Geo. L. 10-1 and they have a tone that I like also. You'll need to experiment also to find the sound you're looking for.

Roger, I've tried all the pick-ups you've mentioned plus a Lawrence 610. The 910's were my favorite and final choice.

I tried a 612 on my Mullen U-12. Hated it. Went back to the stock pickup that Dixie made for the guitar.

I also like the stock pickups that came with my Mullen. They are around 28K. Real sweet sounding pickups.

Yep, after trying several other pickups, I have gone back to the original. Much better for me.

When I bought my Mullen a few years ago, Del and Tom Brumley were working on a humbucker pickup but I still opted for the standard and have never regretted it. I know of two players with the antihummers on different brands and they are not happy with the tone and I wasn't impressed with it either.
