This came from the factory with my U-12 Carter in 1998.

If anyone believes that this in any way conflicts with any copyrights, please speak up. I'm not interested in opinions or speculations. I'm talking about earnest, informed guidance. I do not, in any way, intend to step on anyone's feet, especially Fran at Jeffran.

I can and will send higher resolution images to anyone who emails a request. Those images will be much larger (dimensions and file size) and have better legibility.

Just used it and it is the sound I get every now and then, now I can get it every time, also the video was a nice bonus.

With Universal E9th/B6th tuning just remember to tune or check the pedals to the applicable root notes E or B....

I had read that the Newman chart, which I have, isn't quite so accurate. I use a Peterson Strobe tuner, but even with the "sweetened/Newman" setting, I still need to tune by ear.
I'm eager to hear more on this - tuning might be the single most difficult issue with pedal steel guitar, judging by many comments here.

You are correct and no matter what anyone tells you it just takes a while.
Universal takes a while longer just like E9th and C6th on a D-10.
The tunings are more similar than you would think based on intervals...
Only the pedal changes are different.
