Here is a live clip from this weekend of my band at a festival at the coast in NC. I am playing my Harmos Lap Steel Model One.
I had seen a post about posting music here on the forum...so, here it is.

Terry - I love it! Harmos !! What's the amp (DR?) and tuning? Open E? Any effects? The tone is awesome _________________ --carl

The sound is the Harmos into my Mesa Boogie DC-3/Clean Channel, and a Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb...I simply use the same settings that I use for my Strats...I use a Planet Wave tuner to send a signal to both amps at once. Open E tuning... |

Terry that is awesome!!!! I am just starting out, all I have is a Morrell 8 string. I want to learn so bad, but wish I had someone to help me out and kinda get me on my feet. It is a very hard task here in Gray, GA to find anyone. You definitely know how to motivate someone thats for sure. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!! |

This is not a lap song, but my Strat with the same amps settings on the next song that we played that night. I always set the amps and sound check with the Strat, and don't make many changes when I change to lap. On this song I take a long break with just the drums and guitar at about the 4:00 mark...it will give you some idea of the amp sounds.
