Hi Gang

My P/P Emmons is going of to see the Dr. soon and I'm looking for ideas on changing placement of some of my knees/pedals.

Currently Jimmy Day setup with:

RKR (E's-Eb)
RKL (top F#-G#, 7th F#-G)
Inside LKL (2nd Eb-D)
Outside LKL (2nd Eb-C#, 8th D-C#)
Inside LKR (G#'s-G) (Not Used, Folded up)
Outside LKR (E's-F)
LKV (B's-Bb) Don't know what to use it for
Pedal 9 (2nd string Eb-E)

I'm interested in the argument for and against the E changes on the same leg and which leg.

Also, which leg is best for 2nd/9th string change? I was thinking of moving this to RKL as I have trouble reaching it now and trying to hold it while rocking pedals 1/2. Then put the 1st and second raise on pedal 4?

I'm open to removing some unused changes to simplify the setup and or make it easier to play.

Appreciate any ideas. I'll save the C6 for another post

thx

bob

Sounds to me like you've got everything you need, and in the right places for a Day setup. I wouldn't change a thing.

Day setup? Put the B-Bb change on P4.
