Here's a beautiful Sho-bud, selling for a friend. Owner who is a great non-pedal player had this guitar modified (don't ask me what to) removed about six pulls, etc. The man who made the changes (Bill Ray-Ray Line) passed away and the removed parts got lost.
My friend decides to sell, asks me to put it back together. I ordered the parts needed but could'nt get them, so after 6 months, I bought materials and began to make my own. You will see the bell cranks, made out of 1/4" plate alum, modeled after the orig (pot-metal) and you can see in the close-up pic's how I made the complete vertical knee system. You will notice the orig cross shafts have no bushings, where mine have clear nylon bushings fashioned from clear 5/16th tubing.
I had to use 3/32nd rods (could'nt find 7/64ths) and Ed Fulawka was kind enough to send me some proper nylon tuner nuts threaded for 440. I got the steel spring retainers from Michael Yahl.
Long story short,
 finally got it put back together, playing, tweaked for my style, etc.
Emmons set up, LKL raises 4 and 8, LKV lowers 5th, LKR raises 1st, RKL lowers 4 and 8, RKR lowers 2nd and 9th
I believe my work is as good if not better than the original, but since it isn't original, owner will sell for $1800.00 plus shipping, lower 48.

In better economic times, this guitar would sell fast at $2300 / $2500. Having a realistic understanding of this fact, we've dropped the price to $1800. I urge you folks to take another "good" look at this guitar, how clean and gorgeous it is!!!
One day these will all be gone, so consider getting one while you can. we might consider accepting some sort of partial trade depending on what you have. Post a private message to me and I'll respond promptly. Thanks for all the responses we've recieved. Lonnie
