Up for your consideration a 1939 Oahu model 51K with a "Pond Theme" motif in exc+ condition. I have/had many Oahu guitars and this is hands down the finest example of one I have ever owned. You would be hard pressed to find one in even equal condition. Even the case is very good. This is a "V" neck construction made for lap or Spanish style playing. As evidenced by the pristine fretboard and frets this was never played as a Spanish style guitar. It came to me set up for lap style playing. There are absolutely NO issues with this instrument. The top is flat and no evidence of bridge lifting as so often is the case in these instruments. This is as sweet a sounding instrument as you will find. I use Newtone Aloha strings exclusively as they have a lite round core and provide less tension at pitch. It has been in open D or C tunings since I had it and I recommend you do not exceed the approximately 165 lb tension it now enjoys. It will be packed very well, insured and shipped by your choice of UPS or Fed Ex. $350.00 plus $30.00 shipping conus No international shipping.
