Up for sale is a 1925 Washburn Style E mandolin. It sounds and plays beautifully, but I've realized that I don't have much use for a flat-top mandolin anymore. The mandolin is extremely clean - just a few small dings, with no cracks or other damage. No repairs have been performed, and none are needed. The low frets have some light wear, but nothing significant.
The mandolin is all original. It has a spruce top with inlayed pickguard, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and an ebony bridge with matching peghead veneer. It plays very well all the way up the neck, with just a hint of relief that disappears when strung with light-gauge strings (I have 11s on it now). It comes with an Epiphone hard-shell case.
The price is $SOLD shipped in the continental US; I take Paypal and USPS money order, or cash on pickup.
