Hello
I videotaped a few of the standard melodies that I use to play in my musicroom just for fun to see how it came out.I play the on my relatevely new Zum,an Peavey 112,and using backing tracks that i have bought lately of John Hughey,Tom Brumley and Joe Turner. It is fun to play these "standards" even tho many have played the before, and better then me,but I think they came out well, could have been a better balance between backing and steel, but that can be fixed on later tapings.
Even tho you have seen and heard countless versions of this one,I hope you like it!

Hope this works,it`s not everyday I try to post clips,so forget how to do it everytime! If it don`t work, you will find 4 of these new songs under my name on youtube. Also many others from last years festival with different bands if you like to see.

Fantastic job on a great song. I think I'll quit playing that song now after hearing the great job you did. Very nice Zum too. Keep on picking. Larry

Egil, That was really nice. I love that song, and love to play it,
but after listening to you, I can see I've got a lot more to learn.
Very enjoyable and love your version of "Look at us" just fantastic.

Very nice job, Egil. The Zum is beautiful too. Is it a brand new guitar, or new to you?

Hi Larry. Thanks for the kind words.Yes,the steel was built for me,and I picked it up at Scotty`s convention when we played there 3 years ago.I like it very much,it`s a red laquer guitar with tiger patterns, that don`t show too well on the video.I also have an Emmons LeGrande III.
On my way in a few minutes to see Vince Gill with Tommy White.

Top notch job of putting your stamp on it while respecting the spirit of the original. Very tsteful.
I loved the V chord stuff at the second fret after the modulation.

Hello Wally.
Yes,you`re right,it`s a hybrid.4+6. Picked it up at Scotty`s 3 years ago.Works exellent. The pattern in the wood don`t show too well in the video, but it looks nice too as most of the laquer guitars does.Like it very much!
