Jim,
The cabinet was made by Mark Giles.
There is mother-of-pearl inlay on the front and the fret markers are mother-of-pearl doves.
Bob built it for a steeler in Canada and I was lucky enough to buy it from him. Very Happy

Erv, both Bob and Mark are good people to be around. Bob lives about 50 miles to the north and Mark lives 50 miles to the south east of Brownwood.

Ernie, call Gary at 817-560-2277 he can help you with the problem. Try Sunday afternoon or Monday. I know he is playing tonight and will not be up to early.
And yes the Rains are great guitars.

Thanks, Jim

Even though I don't have a Rains guitar at the present, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them or Gary Carpenter. Both are first class. A lot of compliments on tone while playing a Rains.
