I just came across this case, which I believe is for a Rickenbacker double or triple neck console steel. the outside dimensions are: 33.5" x 20.25" x 6". The tolex is ripped in places, but it doesn't look bad at all, and it's completely structurally sound. All of the hinges and latches are in good condition. The inside is in pretty nice shape, BUT, all of the pieces that made the compartments are gone, so it's one big open space. You can see where the leg and accessory compartments were, so it wouldn't be too hard to re-do them.
I would really like to trade this for a useable case for my '51 Fender D-8. It is actually a cut down T-8, so it's not the same dimensions as a D-8 Fender case. It's measurements are: 29" x 11.75" x 3.5", plus room for the legs. I'm not necessarily looking for a Fender case, just something to transport the guitar that doesn't weigh a ton. I'd also consider a heavily padded gig bag.
Or, if you're looking for a case like this, and don't have anything to trade, feel free to make me an offer. Thanks!

I know somebody needs this thing!
I need something light weight and sturdy for my guitar. Guncase? Padded bag?

Since nobody wants to trade, how about $75 plus shipping?
Otherwise, I guess I have a very cool suitcase.

This would be a nice case for just about any triple neck...

After seeing this ad: http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=230077&highlight=rickenbacker , I see that there's not as much missing from this case as I thought.
