I've had a blast watching him the last two Sundays with Heybale... Anybody know if he'll be there again this coming Sunday? |

I don't know if Johnny will be with them, but Heybale is playing at Anhalt Hall Saturday night for the Dance Hall Preservation group.

I won't be at Anhalt but I'm with Heybale every Sunday night at The Continental Club in Austin. This is an extremely fun gig for me. Getting to play with these guys is a real treat. Redd Volkheart on guitar, Kevin Smith (from Willie Nelson's band) on bass, Tom Lewis on drums, Earl Poole Ball on Piano/vocals and Dallas Wayne (from Willie's Roadhouse) vocals/guitar and me.
Thanks for coming out. _________________ Johnny "Dumplin" Cox

Amazing show ! I was there last night and am currently tossing my steel guitars into the Colorado river. I can't think of many steel players that can step in the ring with Redd and last all 12 rounds. Johnny, your playing was absolutely beautiful and astonishing. _________________ Bob |

Bob, thanks for your kind words and for coming out. I wish you would have said hello before you left. I'm having so much fun pl.aying with these guys. Redd is just a wild man on that telecaster. Every week is in a challenge with that guy.

Johnny,
Sorry I didn't get to hang. I was on girlfriend duty...
I will be there every chance I get. You totally killed it last night. _________________ Bob |
