I've been searching under "conduit clamps", "conduit guides", everything I could think of. It's black plastic, fits on the steel legs but there's an offset channel to screw stuff to without the screw head scratching the leg. George L's sells a couple of inches for what I would guess is the price for a couple of feet of the stuff :

I just need a long enough piece to festoon my legs with picks, bars, the reason I want a long piece so I can build a... thing, to hang a preamp on there. I'm just not asking for the right NAME... ![Confused](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) |

I've successfully used PVC for that David- and you can use the little rubber feet that hardware stores sell to set the screws in so that they don't contact the legs. |

PVC snap clamps - e.g., http://www.snapclamp.com/
These aren't exactly like your picture, but that's the general idea. |

David,
I made some clamps like those on my Goodrich Matchbox by using grey electrical PVC pipe and bonded steel/rubber sealing washers......all from Home Depot. I have seen that the clamps in your link lose their grip with age. |

Thanks that Richco V-1010 that Allied sells is exactly it, for $0.41 an inch... now I just have to figure out how to buy them! I have PVC, but the issue of the screws scratching the legs is solved by that Richco thing with the offset channel. I have a few leaded crystal bars that I don't want to "test" on hard floors. |
