Hi Bill,
You can weigh the guitar, but it's a two part process. Weigh yourself (however scary that might be), and then grab the guitar and weigh again. Obvoiusly, difference is the weight of the guitar. That's how I have to weigh my daighter's pet turtle.

 That's funny Glen. Guess I'll try it. Here I go(suspense).....
Well I was close, it weighed 4.6 lbs. I'm not telling what the weight was with me holding it.
Some one needs to buy this guitar. My wife needs a new broom.

There are no issues with this guitar. What looks like scratches are from the camera flash.
