Kay Mandolin for sale. Sounds great!! I think the case is original too but either way it's a great mandolin hard case. Looks like the neck has been worked on at some point but that makes sense for an instrument of this age.
Looking for $250 (that includes shipping), or:
As odd as this sounds I will trade this for a working Iphone 4S, or I would also trade it for other broken or working smartphones, just please let me know how broken they are (my side business and for fun I buy, sell, and fix smartphones).
Also looking for 1980's Made in Japan Yamaha BB series basses...

Casey.
Do you have any idea how old the mandoline is? Does it play true? No warped neck issues? It looks solid. I'm intrested !

It's a solid neck. Super solid, in fact. I've never had a mandolin quite like it. I've been trying to date her but I can't find that exact Kay emblem anywhere on the 'net just yet.
She sounds good; we've (my band, I'm a Bassist) used her a few times at some jams.
Her history:
This Kay I've been around for about a year (though I just bought it from the owner a few months ago). I know the guy I got it from has had it for 4-5 years, and that he played it in a church band when he first got it. He received it from an older church member.
That's all I know! It sounds good to me but I'm sure it could see a luthier for some TLC. |
