I haven't really been posting pics of finished Sho-Bud's I'm working on/refurbishing; as I'm swamped for biz right now, but this is just a classic Shobud Professional done up in original form and WOW; just an amazing classic Steel guitar in so many ways.
This Belongs to Jerry Warner and he has waited and waited for such a long time and bless his patient heart; NOW will be rewarded.
Enjoy the eye-candy.
Ricky

Really nice work. How much does a resto job like that run? My 64/65 is in DIRE need of some knowledgable TLC....I cant imagine fine work like this and what Mr Morehead does is cheap!

Jerry, Glad this is finally working out, and a HUGE thanx to Ricky for taking on this project. The "wait and wait" deal is my fault due to my accident and a huge pile of lost time. Ricky has graciously taken over several of my projects to help me out. Thanx for your patience. What ever you pay for this sort of work is never enough--it's soooooo labor intensive. Living proof this is a labor of love for the old vintage Shobuds. Smile

Maybe I'm partial because I play one, but the Pro's are hands-down the prettiest ones I've seen.

Bill,
It is. This guitar has changed hands way more times than it should have.

Jody, Me, Jody, Me, You, Me. It is now where it belongs. Funny how certain guitars just "have it"
Seems you have a certain Emmons original like that?? Wink

Jerry are you asking about my guitar or yours? I am not at the guitar to get the serial number, but I can.

My guitar came from Jody Cameron. I bought it from him in about 2000. I do not have any other history on it. Jody might. I know Jody had to do some work to get it playable. It was always (and still is) a tone monster. There is something very special about that guitar.

We traded it and a P/P back and forth a couple times before we settled down. The truth is, both of us wanted to keep both guitars, it just wasn't feasible. Both of us have too many guitars

Bill D. talked me out of it for a few years. I just got it back and decided to give it the once over. I plan to keep this guitar as long as I am around. It and my black Blanton are all I should ever need.
.

Let me know if you need the S/N of my guitar.

Justin
