Hi Dave,

I'm leaving for overseas at 7pm tonight, and need to make shipping arrangements today. Give me a call this morning if you can.

Thanks!

John,
If the case doesn't work out in time you can pack your steel so it is absolutley snug inside the case you already have. Make sure nothing can bang around in there ! Then put the whole thing in a big cardboard box. Make sure you brace the corners and pad the thing with bubble wrap on the inside. You can find a good sized box at music stores. The boxes they ship acoustic guitars in are often the right size.

Remember that evidently pedalsteel players are all potential terrorists in the eyes of homeland security. It is very likely that your steel will confuse them. Prepare to be unpacked and repacked by people that find it challenging to find there ass with both hands.

Bob

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the info. After checking into the shipping costs to get it to Kenya, I've opted to see if I can find one to rent when I get there. If not, I'll just play guitar!

I see you are in Bklyn. I was born and raised in Bay Ridge.

Many thanks again for the packing info and the heads up on security.
