I recently aquired a new lacquer D10 Mullen.
It is 8x4 and I want to make it 8x7. I talked with Mike at Mullen and he told me that the cross shafts are user installable without taking the guitar apart. Looking at the undercarriage, I don't see how.
Ok... someone has contacted me with two new knees for sale taken off a new D10. The problem is, he doesn't know how to remove the cross shafts without taking the guitar apart. Any advice?

Thanks Larry....

So the kits work just fine? Where on the shaft is the split? Is there any problem with the aftermarket cross shaft flexing?

Steve
Here I am again we have the kits you need and yes you can install them without taking the guitar apart. You may have to tempory move some of the pull rods out of the way.
Contact us if you need help.
We have made some changes in our internet service as we had to install a satellite system. Some of our old e-mail addresses we no longer use. This has caused some tempory problems as we have made these changes about two months now. The e-mail addresses that you should use are, sales@mullenguitars.com or support@mullenguitars.com
