This Saturday night 7-10 pm the Rustlers will be at the Stanford House. Guest steeler Bobby Bowman, with Gene Brown on fiddle, Cliff Trent on guitar and steel, Bruce Lee on Bass and Brian Sutton on drums. Of course our fearful leader Doug Martin will lead the pack!!!! It'll be a fun dance. It always is when Bobby is with us!!!

Ernie, Come down 35 South to Gainesville. Take the California street exit to the stop sign. Turn left under the overpass. Go to the Braums which is about three or four blocks and turn right. That is Weaver street and you will go three blocks and the Stanford House is on the right on the corner of Garnett and Weaver. Rustlers is the name of the band. |

I was sure happy that I took the time to go hear Bobby play tonight. The band done a good job and they played classic country music. Mark Greenway, Curtis Hogue, Luther Thompson and myself were steel players there to hear Bobby play. His Emmons push pull guitar sure had a good sound and Bobby played very well. Gene Brown, who plays steel as well, plays fiddle for this band and done a good job. Cliff Trent plays steel with Doug Martin and the Ramblers and he played some good licks as well. Sitting next to Bobby is probably a little nerve wrecking for any steel player. If you are ever around this area and like real country music this band plays plenty of it. |

Paul, I am glad you got to go hear Bobby. He is a special friend of mine and a great picker. I'm sure you know that. My visit by VERTIGO has left me home bound for a few days. I have not been allowed to drive. Maybe to church today. MAYBE!!!!
Vertigo has left for now but the DOC said I had to be watchful. |

I wish you could have come over Charles but I understand. You do what the doc says and you sure better obey the wife. |

Any time you can hear Cliff & Bobby play together, it's a great night. Wish I could have been there.
