I don't need the solo parts for guitar or organ for this Booker T and the Mg's hit. I only need the rhythm that Steve Cropper played on guitar.
I can't figure it out by myself. Thanks in advance! _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

Thanks but I need tablature, that's why I am asking.
PS:
An explanation which strings and which fret would be enough. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

8----8--------8--------------8---------------G#
----------8--------8.....8--------8.......8------F#
8----8--------8--------------8----------------E
------------------------------------------------D
----------8A------8A.....8-------8A.....8------B
...and so on...
Is this maybe right? _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

Yes, but the original is an octave lower. The notes are too low for a 10 string E9 steel guitar. It would fit nicely on a regular 10 string C6. Or if you change the key to E, it would sound very good on 10 string E9, being mostly open strings. You could pull off and hammer on the C# and F#. |

Thanks for confirming my experiments, Earnest. I think I would rather stay in the key of C, should I ever play this with a band, because the piece needs the snappy Cropper chords. By now I can't bring it up to the right speed on the steel. Thanks again. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |
