Hi all!
Im just starting out on lap steel and would really like to get with a good teacher so I can get a good start with all the proper techniques, etc. Been playing guitar forever and am somewhat of a theory geek...but I don't want to just dive in with bad technique.
Thanks!! |

John Ely lives up north.. and gets to the Twin Cities every now and then for gigs.. and he does lessons online via Skype.. so you can set up an "in person" check up between online lessons..

John Ely is definitely the way to go. He really knows his stuff, and how to get you playing asap. His program is challenging but the rewards paramount. I hope you give him a try.
Cheers,
