1926 Silvertone Straronator Info?

Hi

Gallery 63 Auction Kings, the tv show. In there new listing for there next Auction they have what they are calling a "1926 Silvertone Straronator" can't find any info on it but I'm going to take a look at it before the auction. Anyone know anything about this guitar?

That's a ca. 1962 (AK may be on TV but they're apparently dyslexic) Silvertone one-time Stratotone electric tarted up apparently with some kind of homemade tricone resonator system. Sears' brand (made by Harmony, which they owned for a number of years) circa-1926 would have been Supertone. The Silvertone name replaced Supertone much later--ca. late '40s forward.

What you have there is a borderline low-level vintage piece turned into dubious, albeit possibly playable, piece of folk art. (I'm not going to guess at a price but as a weary TV veteran, I'll predict cutting-room floor.)
