Sold elsewhere; pls close.

1940s (WWII era--as indicated by the 25xxx serial number) Epiphone Zephyr archtop. Big (17-1/2") jazzbox. Previous owner stripped (originally dark or sunburst) finish and installed a neck P-90. The previous crapanese P-90 fell apart and I put in a GFS(?). The cutout in the top for the P-90 was already a done deal. Finish is DIY (not me), brushed-on and tends a little toward earthtones rather than being perfectly transparent. Laminated top and body. The finish stripper apparently cause a few small splits in the top layer of the laminated spruce top. No pickguard, but original E-cover Epiphone tuners.

Bridge pickup is original; knobs are replaced as is wiring harness, but MasterVoicer plates are original. Knobs are volume for each pickup.

Not a beauty queen but a good-sounding player--especially for a vintage Western Swing/Hot Club of Cowtown vibe.

$700 with recent TKL hardshell case + 3% paypal + shipping; in-person local pickup in SoCal preferred, but if you're willing to roll the dice on shipping, no recourse, I'll ship it in the lower 48--actual cost. I'll pack and box a playable guitar; whatever the carrier does to it is carrier's fault and buyer's risk. Reason I'm selling is because of USPS refusing to honor an insurance damage claim (>$3000), so I'm enormously paranoid about shipping.

That's a lot of vintage guitar for the price of a Pac Rim archtop! If I could still play a 25.5" scale guitar, I'd be carrying the coin jars down to the bank right now!
