Does anyone have any scales tabed out for the knee lever that
lowers the 6th string a whole tone with or without the split.
I am just trying to put togeather some uses for this lower on my RKL. Thanks guys Gary |

Without the split, it often gets used as an inverse A pedal: with a split, it gives you a dominant 7th with the A pedal, or a minor chord without any pedals.
If you can find the old tabs of Buddy Emmons teaching the Ray Price shuffles, he used it in Crazy Arms (in the section in G) right where he dropped back to the I, at fret 8, right on the downbeat he drops E to D. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Also gives you a simple, but very nice, move to a Sus 2 chord. And a nice fat 5 chord when used with the lowered Es. So you can get the Sus 4, Maj 3rd, and Sus 2, all on the 6th string. Buncha nice moves there. |
