Has anybody compared a Gallien-Krueger MB200 through a Sarno Black Box or Freeloader to a MB Fusion without either of those devices? _________________ Hey, mister, how do you pedal that thing anyway?

Too many steels, amps & other stuff, and an open mind. I have tube amp bias. |

I formerly used an 'MB200' through a Black Box, great tone. The GK by itself sounded slightly sterile to my ear, but the Black Box warmed it up nicely. I mounted the amp, Black Box, and an RV3 on a section of plywood, added brackets to the back, and suspended it from the side of my pacseat. This not only simplified equipment setup, but made the amp knobs readily accesible for on the fly adjustments . |

I use the GK Fusion and Freeloader w/ a Telonics or Hilton pedal (I like em both)into a 15 inch 350 watt Sica w/ open back cab......I posted a vid w/ that combo...I like it, but not sure I would prefer a closed back for a less mushy bass... |
