I have seen lots of posts like "my guitar was made in 1979 for old so-and-so".

I am a brand-new PSG player and just recently bought a dilapidated old Pro III Custom. I took it to Scotty's, and Don Curtis has done a GREAT job of bringing it back from the dead!

Is there anything out there somewhere that shows when a Sho-Bud guitar was made (and ideally, even who the customer was)? I know several of the Forum members were once Sho-Bud employees, and I'm just curious as to whether the old records are still around.

The guitar is a Pro III Custom
The serial number is 12513
There is also "1-A-3" stamped on the endplate

Thanks for any help you can give me.
Mike
