Heck of a guitar, Bill. Good job. It's going to be the one I reach for when I want tone, bite, & twang. Each oickup position is clear and sweet. Plays great, too!

I can barely play one Bob, much less make one. I can see how you may have assumed that I could by reading the caption on this post.

Bill Dobkins however, does make the Z-Tonecaster and it's a honkin' axe. I used mine on a session today and it cut through the board mix like s blsde. I don't know where he gets his pickups (says they're wound locally), but I've never had a Fender with this much bite. It's not all top end either. Rich and full across the strings, especially on the front pickup. This guitar is going to be a top gun in my arsenal from now on.
