Hello, does anyone know a good place to get replacement tuning key buttons for vintage regal lapsteel? It is from the early 50's ( i think ) and several of the buttons have deteriorated. |

Stewart McDonald ( www.stewmac.com ) would be a good place to start. _________________ "it's not in bad taste, if it's funny." - john waters |

Sound advice!
I also used Stew Mac do it yourself information on replacing buttons ( I have used all three colors: ebony, ivory and white.)
All info is on their website.
I have changed out the buttons on 4 vintage lap steels and have done it at a fraction of the cost. Great part is you keep the original tuner hardware.
Also got some nice binding there to replace binding on my 38 Epiphone model C. |

John,
Just curious, does this mean that your tunings are a "toss of the dice"? |
