It's been stated before, but possibly worth mentioning once again.....

Persons desiring a Rickenbacher Bakelite steel guitar can search, sometimes for years, before they can find a 'good' one that's for sale.

Just got off of eBay where today, one can find over a dozen Bakelites and metal body guitars that are available. Some are inoperative and others need extensive refurbishing. Prices range from $200 to more than $2,700.

How 'bout that? Something for everybody........

Well my friend.......I've heard they've filled them with sand, concrete, and a wide assortment of other unimaginable crappola. Thus far, I've been lucky and never encountered such a travisty.

I'm pretty much convinced that the more folks that are getting into the world of steel guitar.....

the more we can expect similar happenings.

It seems as though there have been quite a few Ricks on Ebay for the last few weeks. Many go unsold at prices that I would consider relatively low.
Are there really that many of these floating around? I'd love a B10, but those seem to be priced out of my range. I assume that would be due to rarity.
