I'd like to know who this is on steel. The playing on this is just so tastefully done, and perfect in every way. My favorite rendition of this classic George Jones hit, "He stopped loving her today"
My compliments to the chef !

Tom Killen, I have heard his name often, but had never seen his picture. His playing on that tune, for me, is just out of this world.
Oddly enough, I just googled his name, and found out that he was fired from George's band for not wanting to sign a confidentiality agreement. ![Rolling Eyes](images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif) |

That's definitley Tom Killen. I just saw him last week in Nashville at Legends Corner playing with Galen Griffin. I talked with him a little and he showed me some stuff on his Sho-Bud Pro. He's a very nice guy, and a great steel player. _________________ Zum Encore, Zum Stage One, Fender 2000, Harlan Bros., Multi-Kord, |
