I guess I beat Clyde and Blake to it this month! A great big invite goes out to everybody for our monthly get together at the Eagles Aerie on 15th Street East in Bradenton. Easy access from I-75. Hope to see some new folks this month. Get complete driving instructions on our website: http://www.manasotasteelguitarclub.com/

Doesn't look like we'll be having a standing room only crowd. Hopefully Blake will have some company and won't have to play by himself all evening. Oh Well

SOMEBODY PLEASE COME AND PLAY WITH US!!!!

Skip,
I will be bringing my "roadie" or is that "roadette?"

If I buy her a Soda, she will also consent to be the
audience.

Sorry,I've been snoozing. Oh well, I can depend on Blake and Skip to take up the slack.

I suspect that Tom Chaffin will grace us with a few Dobro tunes.

I will be wearing my special glasses. They allow me to see any invisable people sneaking up to pinch me!

My pacemaker seems to be operating correctly.still limited to 10 lbs lifting. I have an appointment with the cardiologist next Fri and should have some resrictions lifted.

Looking forward to returning to the jam

Clyde

Well, it was a 'summer' turnout last night where the audience about outnumbered the band but we had a good time anyway. Tom Chaffin on Dobro and Blake Hawkins on Gibson console both provided very nice performances and guest lead guitarist Pat Wood gave me a rare break so I could sit and listen. The boy can pick!! Thanks to George for traveling all the way down here to supply his usual great drumming and, of course, Tom Murphy and 'Robo' Clyde Wiggins for keeping the whole thing going and toting the equipment. Oh, and we can't forget out roadies: Charlie Hulen and Mildred for their help in packing up.

See ya'll next month.
