This amp is heavy, could use a set of 4 EL34 output tubes, BUT IS POWERFUL AND CHEAP TO BUY! 100 watt output is swichable to 25%, 50% or full power. Currently working fine other than with a bit of shrillness from one of the output tubes.
I cut the baffle to fit a 15" speaker in it. Am selling with an Altec 416 that's been reconed with a 418 kit.
This amp does have a lead channel pull boost pre-amp and you can get some great tube-tone overdrive/distortion for bottleneck or lap steel, or run clean for pedal steel.
5 channel active EQ switchable to lead or rhythm channel, along with bass, mid, high and presence knobs.
Good reverb, too.
For pick up in Seattle or I can bring it down to the Portland jam on May 20th.
I won't ship this.
