Hi
In the second half of the Vega artical in Vintage Guitar mag there is a photo of a Vega single neck console with 8 strings slideing vol, push button tone controls and wheel tuneing for strings. Anyone have one or photo's of one?

Wow! Thanks Doug
Nice looking steel and it had one of the first hummbucking type pickup. Have you ever heard one?

I had one of those about 10 years ago, 7 strings instead of 8 with a giant goober pickup. it was a nice guitar, great sound, held it's tuning well and the push button tone set up was lots of fun…
i sold it here on the forum…don't remember who it was, maybe he'll speak up

Hi Dennis,

I have a 6-string Vega console like that and it sounds great. Here is an earlier thread with lots of info and more photos of these guitars:

Cheers,
