Ooes anyone know anything about the Peavey Express 112? Would it be a good amp for a PSG? I'm only familiar with the Nashville 112. Thanks, Fred |

I bought one used at a pawn shop about 6 years ago. They thought it was blown up. Turned out to be a bad speaker. I put a new NV 112 Blue Marvel speaker in it and it sounded great after the speaker got broken in.
It's about 65 watts, so it's close to being as loud as a NV 112. And they can be had pretty cheap. A couple months after that I put a set of Ken Fox's ICs in it and it sounded even better.
I liked that Express a lot, but I sold it to buy a NV112. To be honest, I think I would have been just as happy if I'd kept it and put some new tolex on it and a few new cabinet corners.
Anyway, it's a good amp for steel if it has a good speaker and gets the Fox Mod chips. _________________ Best regards,
